Take BothWant for the first time.

Four steps. Both partners. About eighteen minutes, total.

  1. 01

    Both partners create an account, separately.

    On separate devices. We do not require it on the same evening, but we do require that neither of you sees the other's screen during signup.

  2. 02

    Take the five-question sample tonight, separately.

    Anywhere private. Your phone, the kitchen counter, the train. Yes / Maybe / No / Skip on each. The whole thing is about ninety seconds.

  3. 03

    Wait for the reveal email — usually within an hour.

    The reveal arrives only after both partners have submitted. If you take the sample first, you'll get a placeholder; the real reveal lands when your partner finishes.

  4. 04

    Read the reveal together, in the same room. Stop there.

    Resist the urge to add commentary in the same sitting. The reveal puts one shared thing in the room — let that be enough for the first conversation.
