Letters from couples.

Anonymized, with permission. About the conversations the reveal opened.

Letter no. 01 · Maya & James · Brooklyn · year 7 of marriage
We had been married seven years before we admitted, on the same night, that we both wanted to try therapy together. We thought the other one would think it was an admission of failure. The reveal made the conversation possible in four minutes.
Letter no. 02 · Anonymous · Toronto · year 12 of marriage
After the reveal, we sat with the list for a full evening before either of us said anything. The thing we both said yes to wasn't the thing either of us would have guessed. That single misjudgement, made visible, has been the centre of two months of conversation.
Letter no. 03 · P. & R. · Long-distance, two cities · together fourteen months
We are 4,000 miles apart, six time zones, on a video call most evenings. The quiz was the first thing we did at the same time on different continents. We did not realise how much we had wanted that.
